What to Include in Your 1-Page Project Proposal
To help talented student teams find out about your organization’s challenge, please include the following elements in a 1-pager, and submit it via the link at the end of this page. This information will then be posted to online communities for all students in the Innovation Studies and Sustainable Business and Innovation Master’s. Interested students will contact you directly at the contact provided on the 1-pager.
1. Organization Overview
- Brief description of your organization (mission, sector, and key activities)
- Your sustainability or innovation priorities (if applicable)
2. Project Title
- A short, descriptive title summarizing the proposed challenge
3. Project Background and Context
- What is the challenge or opportunity you’re facing?
- Why is this project important to your organization (e.g. ESG goals, market pressure, operational needs)?
- Is this part of a larger program or strategic initiative?
4. Main Objectives or Research Questions
- What do you hope to learn, analyze, or develop?
- Are there specific questions you’d like the student team to answer?
5. Scope of Work
- Describe the types of activities or analyses students might carry out (e.g. stakeholder analysis, process mapping, LCA, policy analysis, innovation roadmap)
- Indicate if specific departments or product lines are involved
6. Expected Outcomes
- What kind of deliverables are you hoping for? (e.g. insights, strategic advice, implementation roadmap, LCA results)
- How will you use the results?
7. Support and Contact Person
- Name, email, and phone number of the internal contact person
- Indicate what support you can offer (e.g. interviews, documents, data access)
- Typical availability or preferred contact method
8. Preferred Topics or Keywords (optional)
- Include 3–6 keywords to help categorize your project (e.g. “circular economy,” “AI,” “climate adaptation,” “stakeholder engagement”)
